The Wera Zyklop 1/4″ Speed Ratchet Sets are real toolbox space savers with their ability to be screwdrivers, nut drivers, Torx drivers, and, of course, a flex head1/4″ drive ratchet and sockets set. The SAE 004019 and Metric 004016 are the most compact and affordable sets in the Wera Zyklop 1/4″ lineup. Check out the great video of the Wera Zyklop at the bottom of this page.

The socket sets are often out of stock or on backorder. I purchased the SAE set from Amazon and the Metric set from KC Tool.

Wera Zyklop Speed Ratchet with 1/4″ Drive Manufacturers Description:

Wera Zyklop Speed Ratchet with 1/4″ drive. The 72 fine-pitched teeth result in the ratchet having a minimal return angle of only 5°. The ratchet head pivots freely and can be locked into any position using the slide switch on either side. It is even possible to work in confined and difficult-to-access areas with enhanced hand clearance. The predefined locking at 0°, 15°, and 90°, both to the left and right, ensures safe working without any slipping of the ratchet head.

The ratchet can be used as a conventional screwdriver in its 0° position by attaching an adaptor and bit. The flywheel design means that screwdriving is accelerated. The rotation-symmetric structure of the Kraftform handle and the free-turning sleeve reinforce this rapid twisting process. The outstanding design of the Kraftform handle fits perfectly into the hand, preventing injuries such as blisters and calluses. The rugged materials used for the handle ensure quick and easy hand repositioning without any danger of the skin “sticking” to the handle. The softer anti-slip zones enable the low-loss transfer of high forces. Suitable for ¼” square sockets and an ¼” adaptor with the square drive with ball lock.

 

The new Wera Zyklop ratchet combines 5 ratchet types into one robust tool. The swivel head has defining lock points at 0, 15, and 90 degrees left and right, preventing the head from slipping for reliable and safe working. A combination of freewheeling sleeve and rotating mass design turns a nut or screw with unbelievable speed at a 0-degree position. Add an adaptor and a bit, and the ratchet can be used as a conventional screwdriver.

The Wera Zyklop Speed Ratchet features an easily accessible thumbwheel that reverses direction in any position. The Sockets feature distinctive knurling for easy manual tightening. Premium extensions are fitted with Wera’s flexible lock system, preventing slipping or accidental disconnection and loss of tool.

Kraftform multi-component handle, with hard and soft zones, fits the shape of the hand for ultimate comfort and high-speed torque transfer.
